When the voters in North Attleboro approved a $6.5MM override in April of 2018 it was based on a specific plan for how those dollars would be spent. The Board of Selectmen have taken that commitment seriously and are working with each of the departments to ensure spending is progressing as planned. This document provides a detailed update of progress as of January 30th, 2019.
The great news is that we are seeing tangible results. A few examples include: the High School’s accreditation warning is being removed, the library’s accreditation has been reinstated and the newly created Economic Development coordinator successfully secured an important opportunity zone development grant program for the Town.
